At
T.H. Evans, our rebuild department offers two component rebuild
classifications. The first of the two classes is what we call a Rebuilt
unit. A good Rebuilt differential has been disassembled, inspected, and
repaired with OEM parts. These units are then reinspected for quality
workmanship and finished in black. The gear work is then coated with an
antirust solution for protection. Rebuilt units carry a 30 day guarantee.
The
other classification is what we call a Reman unit. These units have been
disassembled, inspected, and repaired with new OEM parts. Each original
part has been cleaned via bead abrasion and has met a quality inspection
before use. Every bearing and race is replaced with new components. The
unit is then given a final inspection for quality workmanship and finished
in red. At T.H. Evans, we stand behind this class of Reman units for 90
days.
Using
the same standards and methods, our rebuild department rebuilds and
repairs other differential components such as power dividers, nose cone
assemblies, and two speed motors.We stock and repair rear ends
made by Dana, Eaton, International, Mack, Rockwell, Spicer, and more. We
